Yokai Bookstore

My submission for the Game Mockup Jam. Wasn't able to complete it as much as I would've liked in time, but hopefully I got the gist of it down!

The main idea behind it is a bookstore management sim, drawn in an Ukiyo-e inspired art style, where the Player runs around and attends to the store's business. There'd be different Yokai (Japanese ghosts) visiting the store, each with their own personalities, interests, and shopping behaviors. Some may be content with browsing on their own, and others may request the player to retrieve a specific book in the store (rewarding the player's knowledge of their store and/or organization skills). There'd be a Day/Night cycle where during the Day business as usual goes on, while at Night the Player would re-stock or re-decorate the store as they see fit, whether in an attempt to bring in more customers or simply to build the bookstore of their dreams.
